Natasha Blain

Director of Education

Hi I'm Natasha and I am proud to say that I have worked in the field of early childhood education since the day I became a mother. From this moment I knew that this would be my lifelong journey. So from that point my journey became my passion. For the last 20 years as a qualified and registered teacher I have worked in various fields of teaching. My journey has taken me on different routes of working in childcare centres, working in home based businesses to lecturing and tutoring in tertiary sectors. I have a Degree in Teaching and have various certifications around caring for children from First Aid to Providing Safe Environments for children.

ASPIRE Learning resonates my passion and my drive for providing children every opportunity that they may have in life. For every child to see themselves as deserving and capable of every dream that they may have without boundaries. Every child comes with a wealth of culture identity and language behind them. It is up to us to see this, recognise this and celebrate this.

Tangiao Wiperi

Integrator

I'm T and I've spent the last 20 years working in Business Administration mainly in the not-for-profit sector. My focus has been on process improvement with my recent years spent in consultancy, governance and starting ASPIRE with my whanau. I'm passionate about empowering people to pursue their career and business aspirations which is why I love the work we do at ASPIRE. We provide a platform for tamariki to launch themselves into the world of learning which ultimately benefits not only themselves but also their whanau and wider community.

Karen Prins

Finance Manager

After working in accounts since I was 16 and gaining my accounting qualification in the UK, I moved to NZ in 2005 where I spent 7 years working as an accounts manager for a corporate company in Auckland CBD. I started working as a in-home educator in 2012, just a year after having my first daughter, when I realised going back to my 9-5 job away from my gorgeous girl was too emotional for me. At the same time, I started up my own bookkeeping business. A few years later and I was approached by Aspire Learning to help them with some account queries which developed into a permanent role that allowed me to combine my passion for education and children with my experience and knowledge in accounting. I now have two daughters; a supportive husband and I’m loving what I do.

Moana Moko

Kaiako / Visiting Teacher

My name is Moana Moko and I have been working in the early childhood education sector in New Zealand for 25 years, educating children from ages 0 through to 5 years old, working in various teaching roles in early childcare centres including some management roles.  I moved to Melbourne in March of 2014 and worked in a teaching position as a Kinder Teacher role for 18 months, my learning and personal journey brought me back to New Zealand in 2016 where I continued teaching in early childcare centres and I where I was closer to my whanau, who are an important part of who I am. I have a Diploma of Teaching in ECE qualification and I am a fully registered teacher with the New Zealand Teaching Council.

Aspire Learning Homebased Childcare has enhanced my passion for learning new and exciting ways to nurture, educate and enrich the lives of our tamariki and their whanau in their own homes.  To share and embrace our cultures, our knowledge, our life experiences, for positive education, engagement, encouragement, and enjoyment in a home based learning environment, where their culture, interests and feelings are respected.
